They just got signed, and are already being overshadowed. 12 Stones touring with Creed... instead of being a headlining act, they're opening for the record company Gods... and Seether on the opening stage for Ozzy. At the very least, if Wind-Up goes down, Seether has a base in South Africa, and can just go back to being Saron Gas. This could be an interesting year... since Creed claims a third CD sometime shortly following the tour (I'm guessing they're going to be writing on the road or something... unless this is the fabled rarities and B-sides album)... we might see a fall soon. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lee Reed" To: Sent: Thursday, July 04, 2002 11:21 PM Subject: Re: [ Creed Discuss ] Here's a question > ever since they announced that blue collar was releasing virgos' album, > that's been my thought, that creed was going to tell windup to fuck off once > their contract was up(and if i'm not mistaken, i think we're talking just > one more album)...and i agree, that'll be the beginning of the end for > windup...for exactly the reason we've stated, that they put all their > marbles in the creed bag...if that actually happens, i would hope that > creed/blue collar will pick the ball up and run with those bands like ap and > f11, since they are supposedly friends with all of them...and maybe, just > maybe, the bands will end up getting the support they need to break out... > > > >From: ]\\\\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[ > >Reply-To: The New Improved Less Lame List > >To: "The New Improved Less Lame List" > >Subject: Re: [ Creed Discuss ] Here's a question > >Date: Thu, 4 Jul 2002 23:17:08 -0700 > > > >The one problem that they might still run into is not a major record > >company > >absorbing them, but Blue Collar Records. > >Creed, I'm sure, are almost done fulfilling their contractual > >obligations... > >and the band recently rehashed their own label, right?
